The Most Charming Hotel in Limerick.

When we were in Ireland, we were lucky enough to stay at the charming No. 1 Pery Square Hotel. No. 1 Pery Square is an intimate boutique townhouse hotel. It is full of unique decoration and character, and each room is named after a famous Irish author, so obviously the English major inside of me was just dying of happiness. Also, the restaurant, Sash, serves the most delicious food, and it's probably a good thing we don't live in Ireland or else we'd be eating all the scones for every meal, because they are so good. Also, during the summer months, they open their terrace for outdoor BBQs, which seems like the perfect way to spend an afternoon in Ireland.

The hotel sits in an old Georgian townhouse that completely captures late Georgian architecture, and was completely restored with its original architecture, so the hotel feels authentic and gives you the feeling of stepping back in time.

No. 1 Pery Square is both a hotel and spa. Each of the rooms has it's own period style decoration and charm. They are perfectly cozy and kind of make you feel like royalty with all the ornate decorations. In the basement, there is a spa where you can enjoy massages, foot spas, and other spa treatments. Between the comfortable rooms and the relaxing spa, your stay is guaranteed to be the perfect place to unwind after a long day of exploring.

I'm a huge tea lover, and No. 1 Pery Square has the cutest tea room, the Park Room, which is full of the cutest couches and gilded chairs that make you feel just like royalty. They also deliver tea and coffee directly to your room, which is so nice after a windy, rainy day in Ireland. The staff at the hotel is extremely kind and helpful and made us feel right at home.

We loved staying in Limerick, because it was the perfect central location for us to be able to get everywhere we wanted to go to in Ireland. It's only a little over an hour drive from the hotel to Cliffs of Moher and to Kilarney National Park (both of which are a must if you're going to Ireland). Staying in Limerick was the perfect central location to allow us to make the most of our time in Ireland.

The hotel is also located right in the midst of the Georgian townhouses of Limerick, so it's a beautiful and easy walk to lots of delicious restaurants and classic Irish pubs. It's a short walk to People's Park and the River Shannon, which are both relaxing places to have a picnic or just sit back and enjoy some time outside.

If you're planning a trip to Ireland, we highly recommend staying at No. 1 Pery Square. Between the comfortable rooms and convenient location, it is the perfect place to unwind and rest up for another day of exploring the beautiful country of Ireland.

Thanks No. 1 Pery Square Hotel & Spa for our stay!
