There are always so many things to do and delicious places to eat in New York City that make it the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. NYC is our favorite city on earth. There’s an energy in the air that just makes you so excited about life. Whether you want to spend a weekend strolling museums, seeing shows on Broadway, or finding the best cookies the city has to offer, NYC truly has something for everyone.

Catalina, california
Just an hour ferry ride from Southern California, Catalina is the perfect place to go for a long weekend, especially if you live on the West Coast. Catalina has all the vibes of a mediterranean beach town without having to fly halfway across the world. The best part is since you’re on an island, it gives you a true “getaway” feel. Be sure to spend a day relaxing in the cabanas at Descanso Beach.

Honestly, we’ve eaten a lot of food around the world and the food in L.A. is just the best. We’d be lying if we said the L.A. food scene didn’t play a big role in why we decided to make this city our home. Spend the weekend shopping on Rodeo Drive, riding on the ferris wheel on the Santa Monica Pier, hiking in Malibu, beach hopping up and down the PCH, or watching the sunsets at Venice Beach. Los Angeles is the truly the perfect place for a weekend getaway, especially during the winter.

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE
With its delicious restaurants, trendy shopping, and unparalleled music scene, Nashville is the perfect city for a girls weekend, romantic getaway, or bachelor/bachelorette trip. San Francisco is one of our favorite cities to visit for a weekend getaway. From the delicious food, incredible views, and endless options of things to do. It’s the perfect place to get lost and explore. Spend the weekend walking across the Golden Gate Bridge, taking in the view from Twin Peaks. Relaxing on the beach at Kirby Cove, eating brunch at Plow, and getting doughnuts from Bob’s Donuts.

Orlando, Florida

I am wondering why you only use white, young, heterosexual couples in your photos for these trips. There are many more diverse people who travel alot and have more time and money to travel the world. Please consider being more inclusive in your ads.

What, no Asheville? Great food, beer, ale and cider scene along with great outdoor activities, not to mention some of the best local music in the country.
We’ve never been to Asheville, but we’ve heard great things about it! We hope to check it out one day!
