When we were in Milos, we stayed at Salt Suites and Executive Rooms, and it was AMAZING!! Not only is the island of Milos one of our new favorite places on earth, but staying at Salt definitely made our time on the island even better. The minimalistic design and iconic grecian white color had me swooning, and the location was absolutely perfect.
Our room had absolutely everything we could have ever needed. We stayed in a sea view suite, and loved it! We had a full living room area with a couch and tv, a dining table, and a jacuzzi on our outside patio. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and looking out to the beautiful, clear blue sea and watching the magical Grecian sunset.
Salt Suites has nine different rooms, and each one is named after one of the beaches on the island, which is a fun way to get to know the Milos better.
One of our favorite parts about the room was our bed! We loved the modern and simplistic style of it, and climbing into it at night after a long day of exploring the island was an absolute dream. I LOVED the design of the bed frame and even asked Ryan if he can make it for us when we have a home one day. The whole room had such a relaxing and calming feel to it, which is really important to us. We believe that you should be able to feel at home even when you’re away, and the design and decoration of Salt Suites definitely made us feel that way.
Breakfast is delivered to your room every morning, and you pick the time you want it delivered, so it can be like a wake-up call and breakfast in bed all in one. The breakfast includes a variety of traditional greek pastries and sandwiches along with fresh bread and Greek jams.
Salt has a variety of daybeds and couches to sit on and enjoy the sea view from. It’s the perfect place to spend the day lying in the sun, spend the evening watching the sunset, or the moonlight glisten on the water. One of our favorite parts of Salt was how peaceful and relaxing it was no matter where you were in the hotel. Whether you were in your room or outside on the daybeds, it felt like you had the entire island to yourself, and if that doesn’t sound like the perfect vacation, then I don’t know what does.
All of the staff were very attentive and friendly, and they made us feel like we were right at home. We honestly wanted to move in. We’re pretty sure island life is definitely the life for us, haha.
Salt is located right on the sea and in a cute little town called Pollonia. It’s easy to walk to the town and you can go to the beach, grab dinner on the water, or rent an ATV to explore the island. We highly suggest renting an ATV. Milos has so many incredible beaches that you should really try to visit them all and having an ATV allows you to find hidden beaches, coves, and gorges that give the island its charm.
We absolutely loved everything about Milos. Salt Suites is absolute perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway on one of the most beautiful islands in the world! And who wouldn’t want that?
Thanks Salt Suites for hosting us!

I am definitely booking a reservation to this beautiful place! Your write up about it is perfect and makes it even more appealing (if that is even possible!)😊
You definitely won’t regret it! 🙂 Milos really is one of the most incredible places we’ve ever been!
Oh my gosh, that island and Salt look like an absolute dream. I love the simplistic and modern decor they chose since the beauty of the island already speaks for itself! And that breakfast looks delicious! Your trip sounds like it was heaven. We’ll definitely keep this on our list!
They are definitely a dream! We couldn’t agree more about the decor, because that’s exactly how we felt about it too! Milos is like a little piece of heaven on earth. We loved it SO much we almost didn’t want to share it with anyone else, but then also, we knew we had to, because it’s just so perfect that everyone needs to experience it! We hope you make it there soon!!
My fiancee and I will be there for 2 nights in early September for our honeymoon. What’s the best way to see the "moon rocks"… By land and renting a car or finding a boat captain?
Also, are there any restaurant rec’s in the area or should we plan to head into Adamas?
Oh my goodness you will LOVE it!! Sarakiniko Beach is probably the most famous "moon rocks" beach, and you can easily take a car or and ATV there! We rented an ATV and went to all the different beaches on the island and LOVED it, so we’d highly suggest doing that! If you want to go to Kleftiko, which has these amazing rocks in the water, you have to take a boat tour to get there.
As far as restaurants, we kind of just wandered around and ate at a different restaurant every night, but the ones in Adamas were pretty good!
I’m planning my honeymoon right now and thinking of staying here while in Milos for 3 nights. Do you have any other recommendations while on the island? We are also going to Paros if you have anything there!
Congrats! Milos is amazing and you’ll have such a great time on the quaint, but adventurous island. Rent ATVs and explore all the beaches on the northern and southern sides of the island and take a catamaran tour over to the sea caves of Kleftiko. Lastly, watch the sunset from the top of the town of Plaka. It’s a great one!
Have been to several of the Greek Isles on six different trips, but I somehow missed this island, looks fantastic, hope to make it some day
