When we were in Mykonos, we stayed at Tharroe of Mykonos, and it was seriously fabulous! We loved running around and exploring the entire island, but we also spent a day just relaxing and enjoying the view from Tharroe of Mykonos, because it was honestly so peaceful. Tharroe is located up on the hill just above Little Venice, so it overlooks the island and the iconic windmills and it’s pretty easy to walk into town. Plus, it has one of the prettiest views of the sunset! And if you do nothing else while you’re in Greece, make sure you watch the sunset every night you’re there. There’s truly nothing quite like the sunsets in Greece.
We loved everything about the island of Mykonos! It generally has a reputation as a party island, but it doesn’t matter at all if you’re not interested in partying, because the whole island is absolutely beautiful and has a really fun mix of everything. You can either go to a remote and quiet beach or a very popular party beach. You can wander through the tiny streets of Little Venice, or you can eat dinner on the waterfront and enjoy a more touristy feel of the city. It is definitely worth visiting when you’re in Greece, even if you only go for a day trip!
