If you’re looking for the best island in the Caribbean, Antigua should definitely be at the top of your list.
Antigua was not at the top of our list of places to visit, but when we found out about Yacht Getaways Caribbean Route and that it included Antigua, we were immediately intrigued. I’ve always LOVED the Caribbean and been fascinated by the stunning blue water there. We went to Turks and Caicos two years ago, which was Ryan’s first time visiting the Caribbean, and we’ve been dying to go back ever since.
Antigua is more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Seriously. These pictures don’t even do it justice. When the sun hits the water every morning, the most beautiful shades of crystal clear blue and deep turquoise appear. We’ve never seen water so beautiful and so many different shades of blue. Every single one of the beaches is covered in the softest white sand and we had so many of them completely to ourselves. The island is known for having 365 beaches all around the island, which basically means it’s paradise.

Absolutely stunning photos. Thanks for sharing.
So glad you liked it! Antigua is absolutely stunning and honestly these photos don’t even really do it justice!
Sorry, but I expected more pictures of the local people and what areas away from the beaches look like. That’s the kind of photography of a place I’ve never visited that grab my interest. Those beaches and mountains could be anywhere in the world. (And yes, I have visited Antigua, it is very picturesque.)
Thanks so much for sharing your opinion with us! We appreciate your perspective. Hope you enjoyed your time in Antigua!
how much 2 people must to have available to go there for a weeck, inclide everything?
It definitely depends on where you stay and what you’re wanting to do. Antigua is pretty remote so a lot of things are expensive, but it is possible to find cheaper accommodations during the low season!
It really Blessed my heart to hear someone pay such Awesome tribute to my Island. I was born on Antigua but moved to the USA when I was 23years. I ‘ve been living here over 45 years and go back to Antigua every year to visit. I tell all my friends that Antigua is really Paradise; and the description you painted of the Waters both in the day and in the evening is truly spectacular along with the Stunning Sunsets. Thank You for Sharing and Photographing the Beauty of the Caribbean Gem.
That’s so good to hear! Antigua is such a beautiful island. I can’t ever get over all the amazing beaches.
