The Best Gifts for Travelers

Finding the perfect gift can feel pretty overwhelming sometimes, especially for that friend that’s always on the go. We put together this list of our very favorite products that we bring on our trips with us and make our travels so. much. easier. Pick anything from this list for the travel enthusiast in your life, and they definitely won’t be disappointed. Here’s our Ultimate Gift Guide for Travelers:

The Best Gifts for Travelers

Eye Mask:

Getting sleep on a flight is hard enough, but having to deal with the lights going on and off and people moving all around you makes it even harder. This Slip Eye Mask is my absolute favorite, because it’s so soft and it blocks out light so well. Plus, you can use it at home too.

Allbirds:

Honestly, the most comfortable travel shoe of all time. Easy to slip on and off at the airport and great for long days walking around. The Treebreezers and the Wool Runners are our favorite.

Jewelry Case:

Traveling with jewelry can be pretty complicated. Necklaces get tangled, earrings can get bent, and rings can fall to the bottom of your bag and get lost. This jewelry case holds everything from rings and earrings to necklaces and bracelets and is perfect for keeping all of your jewelry in one place.

Travel Pillow:

I personally hate travel pillows that go around your neck. I don’t know why, but they just don’t work for me, so this travel pillow that you can fold into a tiny container is absolutely perfect for anyone who needs to catch some sleep on the go.

Travel Friendly Perfume:

Traveling with a giant bottle of perfume seems like asking for a disaster. It might break in your bag leaving everything smelling way too strongly of perfume. Or the big bottle makes it so you can’t carry your suitcase on, because it’s over 3.4 oz. But, you shouldn’t have to smell bad just because you’re traveling. Use these little travel friendly perfumes instead. They’re easy to pack and perfect to throw in your day bag to take it with you while you’re out exploring.

Drunk Elephant Face Mask:

I never go anywhere without this face mask. I use it religiously every week, and I swear my skin is 10 thousand times softer and more clear because of it.

Eye Patches:

Between long flights, jet lag, and uncomfortable sleeping situations, dark little bags under your eyes are pretty much inevitable while you’re traveling. I love using these Patchology Eye Gels to make those bags go away and make me look ready to take on a new city. Plus, it’s nice to just kind of treat yourself to a mini at home spa experience while you’re in your hotel room.

Passport Holder:

I love having a cute passport holder to bring with me on our trips. It protects my passport from getting bent or wrinkled, and it makes it easy to find in my bag. Plus, it always makes me excited to go on an international trip and it’s cute for a photo.

Luggage Tag:

There are few things I fear more than losing my luggage or someone else accidentally taking my luggage. Get your traveling friend one of these cute luggage tags, so they always know exactly which luggage is theirs.

A Cute Day Bag:

I love packing a small cute day bag with me. Having an extra small bag makes it easy to leave all your luggage in your suitcase or carry-on backpack and still be able to bring a bag with you as you go out for the day without having to unpack. Whether it’s a tote for going to the beach, a backpack for a day adventuring around a city, or a small bag for when all you want to bring is your camera, phone, and a credit card, having an extra small bag to bring with me is my favorite travel hack.

The Perfect Sweater:

The one thing I always bring with me on a trip—a sweater. It doesn’t matter if we’re going to one of the hottest places on earth, I always need a sweater during our travels. A basic sweater is perfect for the plane, wandering through a museum, out and about, or even when you’re hanging out in a really cold air conditioned hotel room.

Reusable Water Bottle:

I never go anywhere without a reusable water. I use my Hydroflask water bottle every day. Not only is it so much better for the environment, but it also saves us so much money. You can refill it at stations throughout the airport so you don’t have to spend $5 on airport water, and you can use it when you’re spending a whole day out exploring the city.

Travel Journal:

I love being able to write down my favorite memories from our trips and having little guided questions and ideas helps me actually do it. This travel journal is perfect, because it also has placeholders so you can print out and add photos.

Cork Globe:

We had a cork map, and Ryan loves putting pins in it every time we get back from a trip! This cork globe is the perfect gift for any travel enthusiast.

The Perfect Weekender:

I love this bag, because it doubles as a weekender bag and a carry-on, so it’s perfect for any kind of trip. It also has a sleeve so it easy slides onto your luggage and that is an absolute game changer. I always joke that this is my Mary Poppins bag, because it literally fits everything.

Conair Cordless Curling Iron:

Doing your hair while traveling can seem like such an ordeal. Especially if you’re worried about frying your hair or your curling iron. This curling iron is genius, because it’s cordless, so you can take it with you on the go, it has a USB charger, and you don’t need to worry about ruining it or your hair.

A Plain White Tee:

My absolute favorite basic tee. I’m literally wearing it right now. A basic white tee is perfect for plane rides, beach days, with jeans, or under a cute cardigan.

Comfy Travel Set:

I’ve worn these sweatpants and this sweatshirt on pretty much every flight this year. Traveling is uncomfortable enough as it is. Your clothes should be comfortable. This set seriously feels like butter. It’s the most comfortable set I’ve ever owned and I wish I could wear it all day every day. I also just got this jacket and I’m obsessed and going to be wearing it every day this winter. It’s perfect for plane rides, days out exploring the city, and cozy days at home.

Travel Calendar:

I love these calendars and get one every year. The illustrations are so cute and such a fun way to remember the places you’ve already been and get excited to visit new places every month.

The Global Vegan Cookbook:

You don’t have to be vegan, but theses recipes in The Global Vegan cookbook are absolutely delicious and include flavors and dishes from all over the world!
