Interlaken is a beautiful European city with picturesque roads lined with quaint buildings in a green valley surrounded by snowy mountains, with ice colored streams full of swans drifting through. I’d stay a night or two here, so you can wake up to a view like this:

Take the Glass Tram

Make sure you take the glass tram up the mountain to the Harder Kulm Panorama Restaurant one night! Fun ride up to an amazing restaurant – make sure you walk out to the deck after you put your name down to see an unbelievable view! The food is amazing and authentic, and when I went they had a performance with traditional attire, yodeling and playing the alphorn!

Make the drive to Laterbrunnen

Then make the drive into the mountains to Laterbrunnen. This peaceful mountain village sits on the hillside of the top of Europe, Jungfrau. Surrounded by the alps, and next to a massive waterfall, you can take quiet walks to see the views and smell the flowers. Take a glass tram up the mountain one day for even better views – you won’t believe how people live up there!

Visit the Ice Caves

Pack a winter coat and take the train to Jungfrau! You get to walk through ice caves in the mountain and up to the highest peak! I’d recommend sunglasses, the snow is blinding! Then come back inside to warm up and shop at the Lindt shop… inside the mountain!
